Heading to Katahdin again to summit with High Route. He’s been with me through thick and thin so it only seems right I go up with him and his first trail family. I camped last night at Chimney Pond Lake and headed up Cathedral route. I met his friends and we celebrate his/our achievement. I was going to go down Knifes Edge and Hallon trail but there was clouds so you wouldn’t get the full scary experience so I went down Saddle route. It was tough on the legs but I made it down.
That’s it, no more hiking for some time.
