Church of the mountain hiker centre.
Last day in Pennsylvania. I think it was the worst day of land mines and claymores, I think it wanted us to leave with a bang. One lovely rock hopping at Wolf Rock. Not as terrifying, only possible broken bones. Got into town early enough but all the bunks were gone. There’s a lean to at the rear of the Presbyterian church and I setup there. Had a shower and washed clothes in sink because I had so little dirty. Resupply and ready for the new state of New Jersey. I’m going to go to church tomorrow since I’m sleeping in one tonight!!!
Thought for the day
As I walked through hard rocks I thought of a different ROCK that never hurts your feet but actually protects us. I’m so glad we can trust in the Lord our God to protect us. Tomorrow is Sunday and I’ll certainly be praising Him for His protection through Pennsylvania.
Psalm 18:1-3
I love you, O LORD, my strength.
The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised,
and I am saved from my enemies.
