AT 86 - 20th June (1020.4)

I have mixed emotions to being half way.

One half of me says,”you’ve done half the AT and you only have half to go”.

The other half of me says, “you’ve only done half and you still have half to walk”.

I was bouncing between the two all day. I was going to push to Boiling Spring but there isn’t a bed to be found. Staying in shelter and dropping into town tomorrow and then on to the next shelter.

Thought for the day

How quickly do we respond to Jesus.

Matthew 4:18-20

[18] While walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. [19] And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” [20] Immediately they left their nets and followed him.

I’m not sure if my response is immediately, how about you ?

We all make excuses or maybe say “tomorrow “.

I wonder what we miss out on by delaying our response.

  4. Perhaps this is a time for REST.
I recall when you made the little 'deck-chairs' as agape gifts - so simple but a powerful reminder that God tells us "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest"
    Matthew 11:28-30
    Go Steve !!!!
