Te Araroa 29 - Manukau to Drury

 

18.5km to rest after 41 yesterday. It rained for the last 3 hours. Got to a bunk room because of the rain. Most of the day was walking beside motorway but what made the day great was the Botanical Gardens.

I nearly got distracted by this gravity drop 

but I had passed it and couldn’t get in. 

Right beside the motorway. 

Thought for the day. 

This sign got me thinking. 

Everything you need and more. 

So everything you don’t need!!!

Are we happy with what we need. 

We say the Lord’s Prayer. 

“Give us today our daily bread” (food we need) 

Are we happy with that or do we always want more.

Philippians 4:19

[19] And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

We are not promised luxury but what we need.

When you yearn for more or what others have, ask the question, do I really need it?
