AT 75 - 9th June (941.2)






 Byrds nest #3 Hut


Stoped into Skyline resort for lunch. I was walking with Dan who is getting off trail today. He just does 9 or so days a year. But he got a cabin for the night so he allowed me to have a shower!!! I had a siesta and decided to stay for dinner. Loading the calories!!!! SNP is different and is more touristy so has places to eat. 

Real food tastes so good. After dinner I have 3 hours to hike. Maybe I’ll find a spot to camp earlier. Made it to shelter before sunset. 


The smoke haze is the result of wild fires in Canada. You can smell it but so far my breathing is ok. In the valleys people are struggling.
