37.5km hike today. I had to be at Okura Long Bay crossing at 10 so I got up at 4:30. Got there 9:30 and crossed before low tide. I hate waiting. Belly button height but no issue. Then my bottom half was wet all day. The rain came and wet the top half before I could get covered. I hadn’t planned where to stay because I thought I’d miss low tide. So walked to first camping park. It means I’m back in Auckland tomorrow!!! I have a friend who will give me a bed!!
Today was all cliffs, you start walking on the top and then you walk the rocks under them. Up and down a lot.
