An easy 13.5km today. I got up early to catch the ferry over to Auckland. I got there and had to buy a ticket and it left!!! So I had half hour till the next so had second breakfast. Walked to Mount Eden and found a church to go to. Lovely people and nice to praise the Lord together. Got Uber to stay with Phil & Gwen. Real bed for the night and maybe tomorrow night.

Thought for the day.
I sang a new song today, one section struck me.

There's hope on the horizon
Oh look to Christ
His Kingdom is arriving
Give him glory
In the waiting
Hold on to hope”
It’s sometime hard to sing and worship when we’re in need. Sickness, sadness, suffering or generally down. The thought we can give God glory “in the waiting” struck me. We can bring where we are to Him. The fact that we come,”in the waiting”, is worship. We always hold on to hope.
