AT 73 - 7th June (898.2)

 What a fantastic day. Wet night which was unexpected so tent wet. Left camp at 6:30. The deer were back for a snoop around camp. Not too much climbing. Got to Lofty Mountain camp store for resupply and lunch. Washed everything I had. I wore last T-shirt and boxers. I hope no one noticed!!! Had a hot shower and felt a million dollars. Try not having your daily shower for 5 days and see what it’s like to have one at the end!!! 

Relaxed and dried tent in the sun. Then went to cafe a mile ahead plus 0.5 down hill for dinner. Then hiked back up and another 4 to get to shelter.  Arrived at 7pm, later than normal.

      No bikes allowed on the trail. There are other trails for bikes. BitterSweet
