AT 78 - 12th June (995.7)

 Rod Hollow Shelter.

Waking up in a real bed is great but then it is so easy to turn over and go back to sleep. At least breakfast was at 7:30 so had to get up. Really nice breakfast and lots of it. Shuttle was at 8:30 so started later than normal but did a big day.

It was wet all day till 5.

There’s a saying on the trail:-

No rain

No pain

No Maine

(RPM)

I was wet to the skin but cloths dried off a bit after 5.

Got to shelter at 7 and it was busy. Got a space in shelter so no tent hassle. I’m on the top section so if I need to get up during the night, it could be fun!!!

Someone had lit the fire so I shared marshmallows again. I’m meeting lots of new people but hard to remember their names.

Prune hands

Fancy shelter, only break time.

On top floor tonight
