Stumble Inn Hostel
It seems weird using the word “only” in the next sentence. I only did 13.4 miles today to get to collection point for Stumble Inn. Great place. I had booked a private room, which costs a bit more, but it worth it. As we arrived at the side of road there was a new hiker looking for a bed but they were full. So I offered to take Bag Man as a room mate. My private room had more beds. I’ve been traveling with Bag Man in the SNP.

Hi Bittersweet. You’re doing great and I’m enjoying your blog and pics. They bring back great memories. I see you’re wearing altra timps - great choice, however can I strongly recommend that you find a hard/stiff bottom’d insole before you enter rocksylvania. The apparently gravelly trails are filled with sharp spikey stones that will mash up the soles of your shoes and may damage your feet. There is a great outfitter in Harper’s Ferry that will steer you right. Happy trails!
