AT 84 - 18th June (1082.2)

Said goodbye to Lori because she is hiking back to her car for work Monday. It’s becoming  a more rocky path but made good time. There was trail magic at a forest picnic area, 3 hotdogs, 2 sodas and crisps and cookies. That got me up the last hill to Rocky Mountain Shelter. It’s not a popular spot because there is just two of us. It’s actually two shelters with four spaces each. Hopper is here and we have a shelter each. The previous shelter had a sign on it SNORING and the other NO SNORING. So tonight I said one shelter is gents and the other ladies. At least no snoring in my shelter apart from my own.

Thought for the day.

At High Rock Ledges there is a lot of graphite.

One I noticed was:-

“Just let it go”

I think I’ve talked about this before but it’s so hard to do I thought a lot about it today.

There’s lots of things we can’t easily let go.

Somethings you need to ask for forgiveness, and that’s hard because you have to admit you were wrong.

Something others have hurt you but never come and say sorry.

Something need to be healed by the only true healer, Jesus.

Something we have built into a wall that only we can knock down.

Something we have built into a mountain but it’s actually only a molehill.

Something we do actually need to “Just let it go”.

In all these things start by asking Jesus to help you.

Better one from last night

Tonight it is His and Hers.

Snoring

No snoring

Very small in a big forest.
