AT 99 - 5th July [838]

 Appalachian Motel near Vernon. 


It is SO HOT. You are dripping all day. I haven’t been burnt yet but just melting. We (High Route & me) booked a motel in the morning and this afternoon I’m so glad. The next section is called stairway to heaven, it looks like straight up a cliff. There was a fun boardwalk over a wetlands with lots of interesting plants and birds.

    Well let's hope you survived stairway to heaven in that heat and you got to Heaven for your birthday on the 7 th
